How to Clean Vomit off Wood

If your friend, pet or child is sick and they start vomiting all over the beautiful and lovely wooden floor. So, no need to worry about. Following is an operative and easy method in order to clean up all the mess and going to floor a new and better look as new.

Following is the method of how to clean vomit off wood.


Procedure:


How to clean vomit off wood by using baking soda and vinegar.


Material Required:


•    Baking Soda
•    White Vinegar
•    Gloves
    Mask
•    Plastic Bag
•    Paper Towel
    Basket or container
•    Water
    Soap
•    Wood floor polish

Instructions:
 
Step: No: 1:

You need to protect yourself, if the person is sick and facing some kind of disease and virus. You always try not to take a risk to touch the vomit and you don’t need to expose to it. You need to take the disposable gloves and you can also use hygienic mask for extra protection, if required.

Step: No: 2:

Solid pieces are taken out from the wood floor with the help of the paper towel. A large plastic bag is taken and you need to put the paper towel and all the solid pieces in that plastic bag.

Step: No: 3:

Some of the baking soda is needed to sprinkle and scatter on the vomit. The baking soda is going to help you to get rid and kill the smell of the vomit. As we all know that wood is always porous and it is going to hold the smell unless you are not going to use anything in order to mask or eradicate it. Continue to sprinkle the baking soda till it produces a solid and a hard clump.

Step: No: 4:

All the baking soda is wiped out with the help of using a paper towel which is slightly damp. The paper towel is also placed into the plastic bag.
 
Step: No: 5:

A small container is filled up with the water around three quarters. Rest or the reminder needs to be filled up by using white vinegar. Stir it briefly in order to mix it.

Step: No: 6:

A disposable sponge is taken and it is dipped in the solution of white vinegar. And then, use that disposable sponge in order to wipe down the floor. This is going to disinfect and sanitize the wood floor. Now, the sponge is placed in the plastic bag.

Step: No: 7:

The wood floor is allowed to air dry for at least a few minutes.

Step: No: 8:

The rest is cleaned up. Gloves are also placed in the plastic bag. The bag is sealed firmly and throws it in the dustbin.

Step: No: 9:

Now, you need to wash down your hands by using antibacterial or antiseptic soap.

Step: No: 10:

Now, the floor is wiped down with the help of a wood floor polish.
